Philosophy & Approach

Mental health is shaped by more than symptoms alone. Dr. Purganan considers biological, medical, cognitive, emotional, relational, and lived-experience factors while helping each patient understand their options and take an active role in care.

Whole-Person Care

Treatment considers mental health alongside physical health, medical conditions, relationships, identity, values, and daily life.

Thoughtful Evaluation

Care starts with careful listening and a detailed understanding of the full context behind each patient’s concerns.

Evidence-Based, Individualized Treatment

Recommendations are grounded in evidence and tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.

Collaborative Decisions

Treatment options are discussed openly so medical expertise, patient preferences, and personal goals can guide the plan together.

Long-Term Brain Health

Care aims not only to relieve symptoms, but also to support stability, resilience, cognitive health, and long-term wellness.

Your care should reflect your goals, values, and life—not just a list of symptoms.
